Research disclaimer
This page explains the limits of the research information on this website. Please read it before relying on any study or measurement described here.
Last reviewed: 17 October 2026.
1. Not medical advice
Nothing on this website is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not stop, start or change any medicine or treatment based on information here. Consult a qualified health professional for personal health decisions.
2. Homoeo-bio-engineering is a proposal
The term describes a proposed interdisciplinary framework that combines homoeopathic research questions with biomedical measurement methods. It is not a recognised discipline or a regulated field, and it does not confer any qualification.
3. No claim of proven efficacy
This website does not claim that any homoeopathic product or method has been proven effective in humans. It does not claim that a change in a measurement such as bioelectrical impedance proves a therapeutic effect.
4. How evidence is labelled
- Established principle: widely accepted scientific or engineering knowledge.
- Proposed framework: an idea for discussion and testing.
- Hypothesis: a testable statement that may be false.
- Published finding: a result reported in a verified publication, read with its design limits.
- Open question: a question with no established answer.
5. Preclinical and laboratory studies
Animal, cell and laboratory studies can suggest directions for further work. They cannot establish whether a treatment works in people, and their results may not transfer to humans.
6. Measurement limitations
Bioelectrical impedance and impedance spectroscopy are sensitive to hydration, temperature, posture, electrode placement, device and population. A measured change may arise from these factors, from expectation or from observer bias. Good design and reporting are needed before any interpretation.
7. Information may be incomplete
Publication records, dates and designations are checked as far as possible. Some items are still being verified and are not displayed. Please check the original source before citing.
8. Your responsibility
If you use information from this website in teaching, research or practice, you are responsible for checking it against primary sources and the standards that apply to you.
